Extraction and immediate implant placement is increasingly considered as a reliable treatment option. This approach have certain benefits in order to preserve the soft tissue architecture and to provide immediate satisfaction of patients.
However, key-aspects have to be taken into consideration in order to insure successful and esthetic outcomes.

This master class aims to highlight the benefits and the limits of extraction and immediate implant and immediate loading both in the esthetic zone and in the posterior region.

Biological principles, case selection and surgical techniques will be discussed and illustrated by case presentations.

The second part of the Master class will be dedicated to hands-on. The participants will be able to practice immediate implant in the anterior and posterior regions. The following procedure will be performed on models:

  1. Immediate implant planning in 4 sites (1 full guided – 3 pilot drill)
  2. Immediate implant placement in a premolar region and combined with socket grafting
  3. Full guided Immediate implant and immediate loading – socket grafting – Connective tissue graft
  4. Immediate implant placement in the upper molar region – socket grafting - Composite sealing socket abutment (SSA)
